Villa for rent in Palombaggia with a swimming pool

The 2,400 m² plot, surrounded by scrubland and granite boulders, is laid out around a path flanked by traditional dry-stone walls. A spacious car park comfortably accommodates several vehicles. The landscaped garden, laid out in terraces, combines a well-tended lawn, Mediterranean vegetation and granite boulders in a decidedly natural style. A pétanque court and a swing for the children provide a lovely finishing touch.

The 11×6 m heated swimming pool, secured by a roller shutter, is the heart of outdoor life. Facing due south, it offers an infinity view out to the open sea, Palombaggia and, on a clear day, as far as the coast of Sardinia — an exceptional panorama from both the pool itself and the terrace that runs alongside it.

Deckchairs and sun loungers invite you to relax, whilst a carefully furnished summer seating area extends the space towards the villa’s stone façade.

The shaded outdoor dining table is perfect for dinners overlooking the sea, and a summer kitchen with a plancha grill perfectly complements these outdoor living spaces.

The living area, which is spacious, light-filled and tastefully decorated, is divided into three seamlessly connected spaces. The lounge, decorated in terracotta tones, features a generous corner sofa facing the TV. The dining room, with its round table and natural wood chairs, opens out onto the terrace and the sea through large sliding glass doors, bringing the view right to the table. The open-plan, fully fitted kitchen has a decidedly contemporary feel with its black lacquered cabinet fronts and central island. It also benefits from direct access to the terrace and unobstructed sea views.

The master bedroom, spacious and well-maintained, features a large bay window overlooking the garden and the sea. The graphic wallpaper behind the headboard, the TV and the air conditioning make it a space that is both comfortable and beautifully decorated. A large, fully fitted, bespoke walk-in wardrobe completes the room. The en-suite bathroom, accessed via an archway, features beautiful finishes and includes a double washbasin, a large walk-in shower and a toilet.

The two garden-facing bedrooms form a well-designed sleeping area. Bedroom 2, decorated with sage-green tropical wallpaper, features a double bed; Bedroom 3, with a softer décor, has two single beds that can be pushed together. Both are air-conditioned, fitted with bespoke built-in storage and a desk area, and each opens onto the same terrace, sheltered by Mediterranean vegetation — a quiet and intimate lounge area. They share a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a washbasin.

Combining contemporary stone architecture, tasteful décor and a prime location on the outskirts of Palombaggia, this villa perfectly embodies the Corsican way of life. With its heated swimming pool, sea views, furnished terraces and refined interiors, it offers everything you need for an exceptional holiday with family or friends.
